Evening's Waltz
This geometric is an interpretation of the quilt pattern Tennessee Waltz. It can be worked on Congress Cloth (8-1/3” square) or 18-count canvas (10-2/3” square). The subtle tones of white and neutral colored threads show off the striking effect of the metallic Walneto stars on black ground. This is a project features several Jean Hilton-style stitch patterns, and a few variations unique to this piece, as well as familiar stitches, to create the sophisticated visual image.

Bearly Vested
This pattern is for a vest to fit a 9” doll or stuffed animal, similar to the Boyd’s Bears named Craxton and Braxton. This project is a sampling of several traditional stitches, worked on congress cloth and embellished with beads. Included are illustrations which should help in finishing the piece into a vest.

Marissa's Weathervanes
This charted pattern is comprised of five distinct motifs, stitched on congress cloth, each of which is an interpretation of the quilt pattern, “Weathervanes”. The motifs can be stitched as a single piece or as 5 different pieces. A single motif, with its border is about 4.25” square. All 5 in a row would be about 19”x 4.25”. Included are charts, stitch diagrams and illustrations as well as a few color selection suggestions.

This charted pattern is to be worked on 18-count canvas, using a variety of interesting threads and beads. Included are all charts, stitch diagrams and illustrations needed to complete the piece. A clever little ornament, depicting a lamb pull-toy on button wheels, this piece is charted for 18-count canvas. Included with the Spring version is a variation for a Christmas Holiday (Ba-a-ah Humbug) ornament. Stitched with pearl cotton and embellished with silk ribbon, beads and buttons, it works up quickly. The instructions for quick finishing are included.

Hidden Hearts
This sampler, with a hidden stitched surprise, is a study in texture, featuring a large number of different stitches, using several different threads. The general format is six blocks, each based on the layout of an uneven Log Cabin block. The model was stitched on congress cloth and measured about 5” x 7” when complete. Stitch diagrams and illustrations are given and large illustrations of each block make this a workable and enjoyable piece.
